M. just said that Vault Tech dealt with competition (Shady Sands) like they did 200 years ago (history repeats itself)…..meaning that they dealt with Shady Sands in the same manner as 200 years ago. Obviously we know that Shady Sands was destroyed recently…..there were so many straightforward answers regarding that (not even clues, just answers) over the whole season of Fallout.

I liked the show. I think the only part I wish was done differently is the the Maximus character. He just reminded me too much of Finn from star wars. But with way less combat skill. People like him just do not survive in fallout. He's just a total opposite of any other brotherhood member.

Also Moldaver using Raiders could be explained that she uses them to hide the fact from the NCR to murder a bunch of Vault Dwellers so she can get what she wants from Hank without any backlash from her position. Also also Moldaver asks the dead brother who is in the NCR to get the doctor to the Observatory, the younger brother helps by paying Ma June. It's not that hard or complicated, Mauler acts like there's 3 people all paying the next guy until it's Ma June doing it. Also also also Lucy leaves her Vault near the SM Pier, when she leaves Filly with the doctor you can see LAX in the background so she headed south east, found Filly and then headed north to the Observatory passing LAX. Which means it's further from the Observatory than the Vault is.

I always thought the Doctor escaping the mini gun turret at 10 feet was comedic, theres like two other scenes where characters either fumble their gun or Thaddeus shooting his full pistol and Max and Lucy in ep.7 is framed as comedy, I think that scene is trying to do the same. The show doesn't stray away from video game logic either, stjmpaks just heal almost dead dogs so it makes sense that could also happen. In the old fallout games hit chances further than like 5 tiles were terrible, like 25% chance but in reality you spend like 20 bullets just to hit once.

I enjoyed the show, and would say its very good, but it shouldnt be canon. It messes with to much stuff.

The maximus fight where Goggins is shooting him and the bullets a pinging off he is not using the explosive rounds he's using the gun on his back which was a lever action rifle with regular bullets you see him switch guns during the fight

It is it's actually pretty smarter than to have this debate they are keeping Their audience engaged by having something for no matter what you believe if you liked it or if you hated it you can engage with their show

Moldaver admits herself she is a hypocrit and not much better than the V-Tech guys, no? She said something like "Hypocrisy is like violence, if only the bad guys use it they win." She is not meant to be a good or moral person, I think in general aside of Lucy there isn't meant to be a single good person in the whole show. Even the good guys are incredibly shitty people in their own ways, Maximus being the prime example.

I've seen multiple people call the show woke. How is it woke, lol?! One of the main characters is a girl, so it's woke? I swear, if Alien was released in 2024, there would be people calling it woke cause "Ripley is a Mary Sue!". Such overreaction.

I really appreciate the conflicting ideas. However, and no hate is meant but I can tell you’re a critical drinker fan not a mauler/EFAP one. Sorry for the long message in advance but; I think that the main crossed wires come from not fully understanding the way he views/digests media. If you don’t appreciate his way of analysis then fair play but his criticism (and by extension, praise) of media is the idea that all of the nitpicks; the little things all add up. The titanic sunk due to several small compounding errors and media writing would be much like the same. It’s all based around logical consistency. So, all of the nitpicks he does which may not seem to affect much all add up. I agree with Maulers take by the way, if that wasn’t obvious. As a fellow autistic myself, I like his approach. It helps me understand media. On the idea that every story would fall apart like that with his approach, I don’t believe this is true. When looking at lord of the rings or saving private Ryan, there is great work and writing that went into is displayed fully. And to follow the tried and true EFAP message, the criticisms are not to take away your subjective opinion or appreciation for the show. And on the thought that Mauler has a bias and is being extra critical of this show where he wasn’t before, I think this is absolute bullshit. This has always been his standard and he’s very much apolitical. In the video you do bring up good plausible explanations for some of his points and others not so much. This is why I like his approach, it hammers down each point and shows which is reasonable, which are only nitpicks and what are misunderstandings on Maulers part. I look forward to a potential part 2.

I really hate that some fallout fans want to make this show a culture war thing when it's not, things have been "woke" since like the 80's or somethin get over it. Some things I don't like with the show like the raider chieftain pillaging and sacking the vault to put it mildly, and then is like "listen to me Lucy, your mother was amazing, so you need to choose me over your father even though I just had a guy try to murder you after having sex with you, I was so good friends with your mother"... But it's only the first season, not every show is firefly, even firefly also had a boring ep. Hopefully season 2 will get better writing.

Vault Tec being behind the great war is more believable to me than China going kamikaze on the world. Im not American, so for me and my friends that had never made sense. The only country that would destroy the planet - because they can't have it - are Americans, sorry to say. So this makes way more sense to me, that some third party was behind everything, manipulating events for personal gain.
